The company is today recognized as a leader in conception, design and manufacturing of customer-specific single-screw extruders, tooling and downstream equipment as well as turn-key extrusion lines.
Following 30 years of success under the leadership of Mr Helmut Wahl, the company made thorough preparations for a change in management which took place in 2015. Mr Christoph Scabell now continues the EXTRUDEX success story with the same innovative and trailblazing entrepreneurial spirit.

EXTRUDEX constantly meets new challenges in the ever-changing extrusion industry. There, our 50 employees work as a team to fabricate extrusion systems satisfying highest standards.

Conceptualization
The essential first step in development of a tailor-made extrusion solution is understanding all customer requirements. We then take the time to interact with suppliers, research institutes and raw material manufacturers as necessary and create specific solutions which meet all technical and economic specifications set by the customer.

From initial CAD component drawings and carrying right on through to the complete extrusion line, we use advanced design software to visualize and produce your components and systems. These capabilities and know-how are your assurance of highest manufacturing reliability.

Creation of Control / Software Systems
Working closely with suppliers and technology providers, EXTRUDEX develops and realizes control configurations for extruders and extrusion lines based on Sigmatek® PLC and SIMATIC S7 systems. Alternative control technologies are also available on request.

Start-Up Assistance
We assist customers through all project phases starting with conceptualization and continuing all the way through to start-up. All extruders and lines supplied are run through a test start-up in our plant under operating conditions, ensuring smooth operation when installed in your plant. The start-up procedure there includes training of your employees directly on the line.

After Sales Service
Even after the purchase and installation of your extruder or extrusion line, you can count on us. We regard after-sales service as a matter of course, offering customers in-plant operator training, expert maintenance support and spare part supply with year-in and year-out availability.
