Extrudex Kunststoffmaschinen GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this data protection declaration. The protection and lawful collection, processing and use of your personal data are therefore matters of utmost importance to us. In order to make sure you feel safe when visiting our website, we strictly observe the legal provisions when processing your personal data and would like to inform you here about our data collection and data use practices.

1. Anonymous Data Collection

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. We only store so-called "server log files", i.e. access data which are not personally traceable such as the name of your internet provider, the internet browser you use, your operating system, the date and time of your access or the name of an accessed file. This data is evaluated exclusively for the improvement of our website and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you as a person.

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have entered and thus does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about any specific person. The data is evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our website and the services offered there.

2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is only collected inasmuch as you provide it to us when contacting us. We store and use data transmitted by you such as your name, company, postal address, e-mail address, telephone numbers or text messages for the purpose of individual communication with you. Please note that you should not send any confidential information in unencrypted form by email.

Personal data that you voluntarily provide to us in connection with an order for goods or services or when opening a customer account will be used exclusively for the fulfilment and processing of your order unless you have given your explicit consent to do otherwise. Once the contract has been completely carried out and the purchase price has been paid in full, your data will be barred from further use and deleted to the extent permissible by tax and commercial laws unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data. Transfer of your data takes place to the forwarding company commissioned with delivery, inasfar as is necessary to effect said delivery. When processing payments, we transfer your payment-related data to the financial institution commissioned with effecting payment. Transfer to other third parties does not take place.

3. Cookies
Consent to the use of cookies.

For our website to function properly we use cookies. To obtain your valid consent for the use and storage of cookies in the browser you use to access our website and to properly document this we use a consent management platform: CookieFirst. This technology is provided by Digital Data Solutions BV, Plantage Middenlaan 42a, 1018 DH, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Website: https://cookiefirst.com referred to as CookieFirst.

When you access our website, a connection is established with CookieFirst’s server to give us the possibility to obtain valid consent from you to the use of certain cookies. CookieFirst then stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to activate only those cookies to which you have consented and to properly document this. The data processed is stored until the predefined storage period expires or you request to delete the data. Certain mandatory legal storage periods may apply notwithstanding the aforementioned.

CookieFirst is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data processing agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with CookieFirst. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that data of our website visitors is only processed in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Server log files

Our website and CookieFirst automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. The following data is collected:

  • Your consent status or the withdrawal of consent
  • Your anonymised IP address
  • Information about your Browser
  • Information about your Device
  • The date and time you have visited our website
  • The webpage url where you saved or updated your consent preferences
  • The approximate location of the user that saved their consent preference
  • A universally unique identifier (UUID) of the website visitor that clicked the cookie banner
4. Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API, a map service provided by Google Inc. "("Google"), to display interactive maps and provide directions to desired locations. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When using Google Maps, please note that information concerning your use of this website (including your IP address) may be received and stored by Google on servers located in the United States. Google may transfer information collected in this manner to third parties inasmuch as required to do so by law or inasmuch as said third parties are involved in processing this information on Google's behalf. Under no circumstances will Google correlate your IP address with other Google data. Please note however that it is technically possible for Google to identify at least individual users on the basis of the data received. It is also possible that personal data and personality profiles of users of the website may be processed by Google for other purposes which are beyond our control. You have the ability to deactivate Google Maps and therefore prevent it from transferring data to Google by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. In this case however please note that this will prevent you from using the map display on our website. 5. Information Rights

In accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany, you are entitled to information free of charge concerning your stored data and also entitled in the event of a justified objection to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted.

6. Data Security

Your personal data will be encrypted using "TLS 1.2" before being transmitted over the internet. We secure our website and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, ruin, access, alteration or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

7. Use of Data Provided When You Contact Us

Our website offers a contact form and other invitations to contact us by e-mail. In the event you contact us in this manner, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your contact and will not be transferred to third parties. In addition, the data collected in this way will not be correlated with data that may be collected by other components of our website.
